PreWired VS 100% Plug In Ready
With the PreWired solution you use the provided pull lanyard to snake your existing twist grip sensor harness through the bars. There is a step by step video tutorial on our website. It easy and only takes about 10 minutes. With the 100% Plug In Ready version there is a factory Harley Davidson twist grip sensor and or harness fully installed and PreWired. Thus making them 100% Plug In Ready.
How to wire the bars
We use a pull string, para cord typically, to install/pull through wires. We use compressed air to blow the string through the bars, you can also use a shop vac to suck the string through, making it much easier to get wires in the bars. Also we do not use electrical tape, extremely messy and sticky when used with lubrication, but we use heat shrink instead. Just a couple of things that may help you.
Difference between 2014-2015 PreWired vs 100% Plug In Ready
The difference between the 2014-2015 100% Plug in Ready vs PreWired is the factory harness. 2014-2015 100% Plug in Ready bars have all the internal wiring prewired plus the factory harness is ready to plug directly into your existing twist grip sensor and bike at the base. Prewired bars have all the internal wiring prewired and then you will pull your harness and use your existing twist grip sensor.
Do I need extensions?
We have had customers who have been successful using their stock lines. However Harley-Davidson would recommend extensions for anything over 12” and we lean with their recommendation.
Chrome built up: throttle too tight
Because we use the thickest chrome in the industry, the chrome can build up on the grip. In cases like this we recommend you knock off the excess with a small file. After doing so the throttle will operate perfectly.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS AN ORDER?
Please allow 7-14 days for your order to be processed for shipping. All of our bars are handcrafted to order, wires are hand pulled. We attempt to process all orders within 7 to 14 days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Wait times can exceed 30 days during peak riding season due to high order volume. Peak riding season is traditionally from march 1st through October 1st. Potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems are out of our control. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Understand we are a team of humans, working with human hands and human brains. We aren't perfect.
WHAT ABOUT SHIPPING?
We ship both domestically and internationally. Shipping times depend on your location. If you live down the street from us in California, you'll receive your order faster than if you live in Hawaii. The USPS, UPS and FedEx sites quote, but do not guarantee, 2-8 shipping days for domestic delivery. International shipping 8-20 days. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT0, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Dominator Industries is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. FREE SHIPPING for US orders over $100.
HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to track the status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven't received your order within 30 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at help@dominatorcycles.com with your name, order number and we will look into it for you.
REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase, if the item is unused, uninstalled, in its original condition, packaging, foam, and we will refund the full amount minus the shipping costs. A restocking fee will have to be purchased by the customer in order to process a return or exchange. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at help@dominatorcycles.com with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
